State Agriculture Nominee Gets Senate Approval

Summary


Gov. Ed Rendell's appointee to head the Department of Agriculture won the Senate's approval Wednesday.

Russell Redding will replace Dennis Wolff, who stepped down in August after six years in the position. Redding was one of Wolff's top aides, working in the department since 1995 and running its day- to-day operations as executive deputy secretary since 2003.
