Summary


A former Jeannette man was drunk and driving a motorcycle that was not fit for the road when he crashed three years ago, killing his passenger, a Westmoreland County prosecutor told jurors Tuesday.

In an opening statement in the vehicular homicide trial of Kenneth Adams, Assistant District Attorney Allen Powanda said the Aug. 8, 2007, crash that killed Heidi Henry, 36, of Jeannette was caused by alcohol, speed and mechanical failure.
