Artists, Writers, Fans Unite for 3 Days of Comics Culture

"The costume contest draws over 100 people," says Michael George, who runs the Comicon with his wife, Renee. "People who come in costume on Sunday get in free. We get people who are 10-foot-tall robots, Chewbacca, Sheena the Jungle Queen, Frankenstein, X-Men characters -- you name it."
