Summary
A Pittsburgh author on Saturday will be leading a storytime for tweens where they can learn life lessons about accepting others, and talk about how their own experiences relate to the story.
Sharon Flake, from the city's East End, will lead the Third Annual Harambee Read-Aloud, featuring her book "The Broken Bike Boy and the Queen of 33rd Street." At the read-aloud, held at the August Wilson Center, pre-teens selected from three Carnegie Library branches will take turns reading the book aloud. Then Flake will do a discussion and question/answer session with the kids, and talk about the themes in the book.See the full content of this document
