Baldwin-Whitehall School District has New Union Contract with Support Staff

The Baldwin-Whitehall School District and its support staff union reached a contract agreement this week after 18 months of negotiations, the Pennsylvania State Education Association announced today.

The school board approved the four-year contract Wednesday, retroactive to July 2010 and expiring in 2014, and the 267-member Baldwin Service Employees Association overwhelmingly ratified it Thursday. It includes a pay freeze in the first year and 3 percent increases in the final three years, according to a union news release.
