Betsy Ann Chocolates is continuing a reorganization of its local operations with plans to eventually close its seven remaining retail outlets and concentrate on fundraisers, corporate gifts and other direct-sales avenues, including the Internet. Four retail outlets recently closed at the Waterworks and at the McKnight-Siebert, McIntyre Square and Cranberry Shoppers shopping centers. Other outlets that will close once leases expire include at Fifth Avenue Place and the Union Trust Building, both Downtown; the Franklin Village Shopping Center; the Shoppers Plaza in Hampton; in Upper St. Clair near South Hills Village; and the Mall at Robinson. The company will keep its outlet store at its factory site in West View open.
