The Energy Conservation Council of Pennsylvania on Monday filed an appeal of a state Public Utility Commission decision allowing Allegheny Energy Inc. to construct a 1.5-mile section of its Trans- Allegheny Interstate Line electricity transmission project.
Last month, the commission, by a 4-1 vote, approved the short section of the high-voltage line and the so-called 502 substation, but rejected 38-1/2 miles of the project that would have run through parts of Washington and Greene counties.See the full content of this document
