The cost of demolishing a dilapidated bridge in Brighton Heights in May has reached nearly $1 million, and one man is still unable to return to his home, officials said this week.
Contractors used 73 pounds of explosives to bring down the Davis Avenue Bridge over Woods Run Avenue, after inspections determined it was at risk of collapsing.
