Greensburg police plan to buy equipment that will allow officers to detect fake driver's licenses in underage drinking cases.

The "scan-reader" will record names, addresses, driver's license numbers and other information to allow officers to write citations faster when numerous people are involved, such as at an underage drinking party, said police Chief Walter "Wally" Lyons.
