Carbon Monoxide Sickens Day-Care Workers, Kids in Larimer

Summary


Thirty-three children and 10 caregivers were evacuated from a second-floor Larimer day-care center after being sickened by carbon monoxide Tuesday afternoon, said James Holman, a district chief for the city's Emergency Medical Services.

The children complained of headaches and dizziness after workers on the first floor began using gasoline-powered cutting tools to cut the concrete floor, Holman said.
