Regarding the letter "MAWC, pro and con II" (Aug. 12 and TribLIVE.com): My pension was frozen by the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County at the time I left to become a county commissioner. I did not receive one day's credit toward my pension at MAWC while I was on leave.
Also, if you would check the water rates quoted for Phoenix, Ariz., and MAWC in the letter "Soaked by rates" (July 29 and TribLIVE.com), they are completely wrong. If you compare rate charts published by both entities, MAWC's rates are not higher than Phoenix's. It would be nice if the Trib checked facts before publishing fabrications.See the full content of this document
