City's Parks Offer Urban Relief

"I grew up in the city in a very poor family, and I spent a lot of time in both Frick and Schenley parks," said Myers of Fox Chapel, who became an attorney and founding member of the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy.

"In the parks, there's a common ground where people of all ages, walks of life and income levels can come together. That's the whole idea of the park: it's free to everybody to use and enjoy."
