Cmu Professor to Promote Tech in Webcast

A Carnegie Mellon University computer-science and robotics professor plans to participate in a webcast Tuesday that will focus on how the U.S. government can maximize three Pittsburgh technologies: information technology, biotechnology and nanotechnology.

Adrien Treuille last year made Technology Review magazine's list of the world's top 35 innovators under the age of 35. He specializes in finding ways to make realistic computer simulations run in real- time on everyday computers.
