Summary
I've always been more than willing to go downtown to see a show. It doesn't even matter what the show is, or whether it is a ballet, musical, opera, play or symphony -- I'm always thrilled to dress up and be stimulated and thrilled by the arts. But of that list, the symphony had always been my last choice. Classical music without words had always seemed beautiful to me, but a little monotonous and -- dare I say it? -- boring.
That was, until recently, when I was invited to attend the symphony with a few friends. Little did I know what I was in for as I dressed and fussed with my hair.
