Confluence Woman Accused of Dragging Trooper

Summary


A Somerset County woman was jailed Wednesday after she dragged one state trooper with her vehicle and almost struck another as she attempted to flee while they investigated a domestic dispute, police said.

Susan Hinzy, 50, of Confluence, was arraigned before District Judge Sandra Stevanus on charges of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, simple assault and driving under the influence of alcohol after the incident in Addison Township. She was jailed after Stevanus set bond at $5,000.
