Westmoreland County jail officials want to reactivate a specially trained guard force that could be deployed to provide protection and interventions during dangerous situations, the warden said Monday.
Warden John Walton told members of the county board that oversees the jail that two guards have recently returned from state training to lead a Crisis Emergency Response Team.
