Crosby Not Worried About Puck

Summary

Center Sidney Crosby has no plans to split hairs over ownership of the puck that represents his 100th goal and center Evgeni Malkin's 200th point. Crosby, who scored the goal in the third period Saturday against Toronto at Mellon Arena, asked the Penguins' equipment staff to split the puck and present half to Malkin, who was credited with an assist on the score.

Left winger Bill Thomas is not sure how long he will stick with the Penguins, but his Pittsburgh debut Saturday as a member of his hometown club created memories he will not soon forget - thanks to Crosby, whose other achieved milestones included a 200th assist and 300th point. "To be a part of something like that, especially with Crosby hitting a lot of milestones, is pretty incredible," said Thomas, a graduate of Fox Chapel High School.
