Summary


More than 40 people arrested in the street celebrations that followed the Steelers Super Bowl victory -- mostly in Oakland appeared in court this morning and many will have a chance to get the charges withdrawn or reduced.

In a deal with prosecutors, 31 people agreed to each work 50 hours of community service in the next 90 days. In exchange, their charges of failure to disperse would be withdrawn. Seven others agreed to plead guilty to a reduced charge of disorderly conduct and pay a $300 fine.
