Easter Weekend Car Crashes Kill 14, Injure 202 in Pa.

Summary


Fourteen people were killed and 202 injured in 508 motor vehicle accidents investigated by state police over the three-day Easter holiday weekend, Commissioner Jeffrey B. Miller said Monday.

Eleven of those who died were not wearing seat belts. Fifty-two accidents -- including four of the fatalities -- were alcohol- related, Miller said.
