Execution Stay Granted for Fayette Man

Summary


A Fayette County man who was scheduled to die by lethal injection Sept. 19 for the 2002 murders of three members of a North Union family has been granted a stay of execution.

A jury gave Mark Duane Edwards, 24, the death penalty for shooting and stabbing Larry A. Bobish, 50, his wife, Joanna, 42, and their pregnant 17-year-old daughter, Krystal, during a burglary and arson at the family's home.
