$784k Federal Grant to Fund Pittsburgh Computers

Summary


Four Pittsburgh neighborhoods will get 160 computer work stations for public use in new or upgraded computer centers, under a $784,000 federal grant announced Wednesday.

Stephen MacIsaac, executive director of Wireless Neighborhoods, the East Liberty-based nonprofit receiving the money, said the centers will be in the Hill District, East Liberty, Garfield and a South Side hilltop community. Locations haven't been determined.
