Workers at five area hotels, including ones in Hempfield, Uniontown and Indiana, will be working under new management next year because a Texas hotel management company has terminated its contract with the hotels' ownership, the state said Monday.
Pillar Hotels & Resorts Co. of Irving, Tex., informed the state Department of Labor and Industry that it will terminate its relationship with 420 workers at the hotels as of Dec. 31. The hotels will remain open under new management. Pillar spokeswoman Jolynda Ward said a new management company has not been named, but it anticipates that the new manager will seek job applications from the existing workforce.See the full content of this document
