It is with extreme pleasure that I proclaim the revisitation of the very appropriate axiom, "Don't let the swinging door hit you in the (buttocks) on the way out," with the announcement that U.S. Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., will not seek re-election after his current term ends in 2012.
The damage to our economy that can be examined to find his fingerprints has been suffocating. His denial of President Bush's call to audit and have hearings on Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae -- which became the end point for the housing fiasco and all of its watered-down and passed-along-the-pipeline mortgages taken out by individuals incapable of repaying such ludicrous loans -- was, by itself, a catastrophic tragedy.See the full content of this document
