East Franklin Rural Mobile Home Deemed 'Unlivable'

Summary


East Franklin fire Chief Mark Feeney deemed a township mobile home "unlivable" Friday because of deplorable conditions that firefighters found when responding to a report of heavy black smoke coming from the Armstrong County residence.

Feeney said the blaze, which was reported about 10 a.m., was contained to under the home and appeared to have started as an electrical problem. The mobile home is on a rural road in a heavily wooded area.
