Summary
The free antibiotics program that Giant Eagle Inc. launched in September has filled more than 240,000 prescriptions in Western Pennsylvania to treat strep throat, ear infections and other maladies.
Customers who used the program at the in-store pharmacies saved more than $1.2 million, O'Hara-based Giant Eagle said. Across the company's four-state operating area, more than 500,000 prescriptions have been filled for a savings of $2.5 million.See the full content of this document
