Ex-Worker From Mercer County Sues Flight 93 Memorial Landscaper

Summary

A Mercer County construction worker claims in a federal lawsuit that the company landscaping the Flight 93 National Memorial laid him off and denied him health insurance after he complained about the company doctoring workers' time cards.

Gerald R. Marcucci of West Middlesex says in the lawsuit filed Thursday he was hired by Wallace & Pancher Inc. of Hermitage in August and was supposed to start receiving health benefits on Dec. 1. On Nov. 15, he complained that company officials were altering time cards for workers on the memorial to avoid state and federal overtime, wage payment and prevailing wage laws.
