The Army Corps of Engineers is moving forward on a proposed $1.8 million project to reroute stormwater that floods Aspinwall's sewage system.

Spending $400,000 of its budget, the corps is investigating how to stop an estimated 500,000 gallons of stormwater that overwhelms Aspinwall's sewage system along Delafield Road and Alcosan's wastewater system when it rains, sending raw sewage to the Allegheny River.
