Gaming Website Causes Tiff in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG -- A website created for people to report waste or wrongdoing within the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has sparked a dispute between Democrats and Republicans on a House committee as to who should oversee the website.

Republican lawmakers led by Curt Schroder, R-Chester County, chairman of the House Gaming Oversight Committee, announced on Wednesday that the committee was launching the site to enable board employees, people in the gambling industry or any member of the public to report what he called "waste, abuse, illegality and whatever impropriety they might have experienced."
