Grand Jury Clears Fayette Transit Agency

Summary


A state grand jury that investigated a program operated by Fayette Area Coordinated Transportation, or FACT, found no criminal wrongdoing, but a county commissioner on Wednesday said it should have been a "red flag" to potential problems.

Commissioner Vincent Zapotosky yesterday announced the state Attorney General's office has acknowledged that the county's medical assistance transportation program, which is administered through FACT, was the subject of a grand jury investigation.
