A pair of state grants worth a total of $825,000 will boost rehabilitation plans at Allegheny County's two largest airports, officials announced today.
Pittsburgh International Airport will get $750,000 toward a $1 million project to seal joints and cracks in the airport's taxiways and runways, while Allegheny County Airport will get $75,000 toward the $100,000 design phase of power and lighting upgrades for that airport's terminal and parking lots, said JoAnn Jenny, spokeswoman for the Allegheny County Airport Authority, which runs both facilities.See the full content of this document
