Medical non-stents: The confusion over patients who did or didn't get those unnecessary coronary stents at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital doesn't bode well for the health care provider. Six out of 141 patients originally notified that they received medically questionable stents have since been informed that they didn't actually receive the artery openers -- but still had procedures that were deemed unnecessary. No doubt that's a great relief for them.
