Not long after Dick Groat, the former Pirates MVP shortstop, was chosen to be inducted into the new National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame, one of his former teammates at Duke, the Charles "Lefty" Driesell, went on talk-radio and showered the Swissvale native with praise for his accomplishments on the hardwood.
