About 100 people came out to Carrick High School this morning for a town hall meeting to get input from the public on the future of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh given a projected $6.1 million deficit expected in five years.
"I would give more time as a volunteer at the (Carrick) library," said Stephen Milcarek, 15, of Carrick, a member of the library's teen advisory group, who was among about 30 people who addressed their concerns and offered suggestions to library officials in an attempt to keep the 19-branch system viable.See the full content of this document
