Angry union members in the Hempfield Area School District showed up in force at Monday's school board meeting, demanding the board change its decision and accept a fact-finder's report that would give employees a two-year contract and end more than 18 months of negotiations.

Donna Ross, a union bus driver, wanted school directors to vote on the report in public rather than in private as they did two weeks ago when they rejected it.
