By the time darkness envelopes Augusta National Golf Club this evening, a first-round leader (or leaders) will someday be able to tell his children and grandchildren that he led the Masters after one round.

Other than being one of only 105 golfers to have ever accomplished that feat, what exactly does leading after one round mean? Other than a crystal vase given by the Masters for the day's low score, it really doesn't mean all that much.
