Summary

A district judge Friday ordered a homeless man to stand trial on charges he fatally beat another man near the Monongahela River in the South Side.

Police said Richard Kelly, 51, made sexual advances toward Dennis Farley, 51, at an encampment behind the shopping plaza along Wharton Street on April 2. Just after midnight, Farley's body was found near the railroad tracks, police said. Farley was originally from the Beaver County area, police said.
