Scott Dierdorf and Matt Rubino hit back-to-back home runs in the fourth inning today to lead Hopewell to a 2-1 victory against Moon in the WPIAL Class AAA baseball championship game at Consol Energy Park. Dierdorf and Rubino each have homered 11 times this season.

Hopewell (22-1) won for the second time in three encounters against Section 3 rival and defending WPIAL champion Moon (17-5).
