Summary


A state parole officer was arrested Wednesday on a federal charge of trying to extort a parolee into burglarizing the homes of known drug dealers and giving the cash to the officer.

Paul F. Dschuhan, 44, of North Huntingdon, a former state police trooper, repeatedly threatened to kill the parolee if the parolee talked to law enforcement about the extortion, according to an affidavit filed in the case.
