Summary
The swells were setting off for greener pastures on Saturday night, heading into Sewickley for the Imani Gala held at the country cottage of Glen and Diane Meakem, who ushered us into their jaw- dropping digs as 450 settled in to toast the Imani Christian Academy, which provides a safe haven of education and support for more than 200 students in kindergarten through the 12th grade.
Proceeds from the gala help the school meet its annual operating budget, and also support "fund a project", which this year will go towards providing emergency boarding rooms at the school to temporarily house up to eight students. Sweetening the deal was the announcement that Trib Total Media owner Dick Scaife had offered a challenge grant to match proceeds garnered from the FAP drive.See the full content of this document
