Summary
Just about every indicator of this weekend's inaugural World of Outlaws Firecracker 100 at Lernerville Speedway pointed to a smashing success. The large amount of RVs in the parking lot also lent credibility to the race's wide appeal. Tickets were sold to fans from 15 different states and Canada.
The weather was perfect, and there was plenty off-the-track action. But it was what happened on the track that attracted the huge crowds for the two-day show.
