Summary
Summer arrives in June, and with it comes more festivals, outdoor concerts and a variety of other excuses to just get outside. The 17- day Three Rivers Arts Festival gets the month off to a start on June 2, and music at outdoor venues include Brooks & Dunn, Donnie Iris, Jimmy Buffett and the Dave Matthews Band. And if it gets too hot, there are ways to cool off -- an excursion to a pool or water park, or a visit to a chilly theater to see "Cars" or "Superman Returns" or a production by the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera. Also in June, don't forget Dad on Father's Day or the Stars and Stripes on Flag Day.
