Mt. Lebanon Teachers Will Pay More for Insurance, Work Longer

The Mt. Lebanon school board and teachers union agreed last night on a five-year contract that includes annual pay raises, longer hours for teachers and higher contributions for health insurance.

In an agreement ratified by the Mt. Lebanon Education Association and unanimously approved by the school board, teachers will get an average 4.15 percent pay raise over the life of the contract.
