A 39-year-old Latrobe man who allegedly thought he was chatting with 13- and 14-year-old girls on the Internet learned Monday he was actually in contact with two agents from state Attorney General Tom Corbett's office.
Agents from the Child Predator Unit arrested George E. Mitchell Jr., 39, of 113 Ridge Ave., Latrobe, who was arraigned Monday before Unity Township District Judge Michael R. Mahady on charges of attempted unlawful contact with minors and criminal solicitation to have unlawful contact with a minor.
