Man Sought in Mt. Washington Bank Holdup

Summary


City police are searching for the lone gunman who entered the First Niagara Bank on Shiloh Street in Mt. Washington and escaped with an undetermined amount of money Thursday afternoon.

The man, who had his face covered, entered the bank at 2:43 p.m., wearing all black clothing and sunglasses, and ordered everyone inside to get on the floor, city police spokeswoman Diane Richard said. He approached two tellers and ordered them to give him money and no dye pack before fleeing and running toward Virginia Avenue, Richard said.
