She could have stayed in her native Mexico, where she's a movie and recording star, and been feted for the rest of her life. But when Warner Brothers asked Ximena Sarinana whether she wanted to relocate to the United States and record an English-language album, the 26-year-old's fate was cast.
"It was a tough decision for me," says Sarinana, who appears Sunday at Club Cafe, South Side. "But, at the same time, I'm really happy that I did it. ... Every decision I've made in my career has been out of pure wanting to do it, wanting to challenge myself.
