Summary
Just in time for archery season, Primos Hunting Calls has come out with a new deer call named the "Buck Roar." It is meant to mimic the deep, resonating growl made by aggressive bucks during the rut. According to Primos, the "roar" is the sound bucks make in the pre- rut and during the rut itself to get a ready-to-be-bred doe to stop or to warn other bucks away from such a doe. The call also is capable of making deer grunt and snort-wheeze sounds. It's made of rubber so that it makes no sound if you happen to bump it on something while in your deer stand. It comes with a strap that allows you to mount it to your arm or wrist, a built-in compass, and a 30-minute instructional mini DVD. Suggested retail price is $24.99.
