Norfolk Southern railroad officials last night outlined plans for a permanent fix to the collapsed retaining wall near the intersection of Jefferson and Railroad streets in Latrobe.
Council approved the railroad officials' request that the city vacate a portion of Railroad Street to build a new retaining wall where a large section of the existing wall that supports railroad tracks collapsed March 2, leaving large chunks of debris on the little-used street.
