Ohio River barge traffic destined for Pittsburgh and heading toward the Mississippi River has been delayed because of a damaged lock in Kentucky, the Port of Pittsburgh Commission said Tuesday.
"We know it is hurting us. We have a lot of cargo going that has to go through that lock" at Greenup, Ky., said James McCarville, executive director of the Port of Pittsburgh Commission. The lock is 340 river miles from Pittsburgh.See the full content of this document
