EL PASO, Texas -- Lyle Moevao doesn't look like your prototypical quarterback. The Oregon State junior is generously listed at 5-foot- 11, 220 pounds, and has grapefruit-sized calves.

Yet Moevao (pronounced MOY-vow) started the season with a career- high 404 yards passing against Stanford and finished it with 374- yard performance in which he tied a school record with five touchdown passes against Oregon. His completion percentage (60.5) this season is just two-tenths shy of breaking Matt Moore's single- season school record.
