Penn State freshman quarterback Rob Bolden hasn't been given the freedom to adjust calls at the line of scrimmage, but that may change soon, center Doug Klopacz said. "Rob is pretty smart," he said. Coach Joe Paterno all but ruled out tight end Andrew Szczerba from playing the rest of the season. Szczerba, who used his redshirt season in 2007, was projected to be the starter, but his back injury hasn't allowed him to practice. He will have one year of eligibility remaining in 2011.
